Applications of Mathematics in Engineering
The Department of Mathematics , Faculty of Engineering & Technology, SRMIST, Tiruchirappalli Campus conducted an Expert talk for I B.Tech (CSE,CSE-AIML &CSE-CS, ECE) Students on “Applications of Mathematics in Engineering” at SRM Easwari auditorium on 20.03.2023 from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm. The session was handled by Dr.T.N.Janakiraman, Professor, Department of Mathematics, NIT,Trichy, Tiruchirapalli.
Prof.R.Krishnamoorthy, Dean-FET welcomed the speaker, and the gathering. Introduction to chief guest was given by Mr. Lakshraj jha ( I year CSE student). The Resource person interacted with the students and explained the importance of understanding the mathematical concepts to apply in various real life problems clearly. The session was very interesting and also very useful and informative to the students. Ms. K.Ramya (I year CSE -CS student) proposed the vote of thanks.
