The Students’ Summer Engagement Program on Bringing AI to enterprise IoT, was organized for all second and third year students of Computer Science and Engineering Departmentand was successfully conducted on 04.07.2023 at 11 AM. The event aimed to provide valuable insights and guidance to the attendees,in focusing on the career opportunities in Google and gave a brief idea about AI and EnterproseIoT.The program featured a welcome speech by the faculty coordinator R.Sharanya and Dr.P.ShanmugaSundari. The student coordinator Ms. Ramya introduced the chief guest Mr.M.K. Kumaresan Cloud Architect, Google India, Bangalore. The session started at 11 AM.
The resource person started with a brief introduction about what is IoT and he discussed some case study related to IoT.He discussed about two buzzwords AI and IoT and the unique features of AI along with the ABC triangle ie, AI, Big Data and Cloud. He discussed how AI is connected with IoT products to satisfy the real-time problems. He elaborated the AI capabilities with some tools like open draw tool. At the end he guided the students on the critical 10 factors for the do’s and don’ts for preparation for Campus Interview and how to get selected. Based on the industry needs the student has to identify and strengthen their talents. The focus on their strengths benefits the students to identify opportunities for the good fit to the companies, help them stand out to employers and to help with the overall quality of life and to be successful.
The training program successfully achieved its objective of equipping the students with knowledge and guidance necessary for their future career endeavours. The event provided a platform for students to interact with industry expert, fostering a deeper understanding of the skills and competencies required to excel in the professional world.
