The Faculty of Engineering & Technology, SRMIST, Tiruchirappalli Campus conducted ‘Codathon’, a technical contest for II Year B. Tech Students of SRMIST on 30.12.2022. The total number of students participated in the event is 120. For the ten scenario based problems given in the contest, the students had to develop code in C, C++, Java or Python in 120 minutes.
The prize distribution ceremony for the winners were held on 12.01.2023. Dr. N. Malmurugan, Campus Director welcomed Mr. Nagveer, Founder of CCC Digital World, Skilling and Scaling Technologies In his presidential address, the director congratulated the prize winners and contestants. He also encouraged the students to participate in various national and state level technical contests. After delivering an interactive session about how to improve the programming skills, Mr. Nagveer, the chief guest distributed a merit certificate with cash prize to the top 6 winners in ‘Codathon’. The winners of the contest are Vimal Sakkthi V (CSE) – I Prize, Sai Narayan (CSE) – II Prize, V. Yoga Vignesh (AIML) – III Prize, Hariesh SR (CSE) -IV Prize, VIGNESH D(CSE) – V Prize, R. K. Kishore Kumaar (ECE) – VI Prize. The session was concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. R. Deebalakshmi, Assistant Professor / CSE-AIML.
