The Department of Mathematics , Faculty of Engineering & Technology, SRMIST, Tiruchirappalli Campus conducted a special lecture for B.Tech (CSE,CSE-AIML & ECE) Students on “Probability distributions and its Applications” at AHS Seminar Hall on 27.02.2023 from 02.00 pm to 04.00 pm. The Session was handled by Dr. R.Sudhesh, Associate Professor of Mathematics, Anna University-BIT Campus, Tiruchirapalli.
Prof.R.Krishnamoorthy, Dean-FET welcomed the speaker, and the gathering. Introduction to chief guest was given by Mr. Shee Siva subramanian (II year CSE student). The Resource person interacted with the students and explained the concepts of probability distributions and their real life applications in a lucid manner. The session was very interesting and also very useful to the students. Ms.Amitha Celcia (II year ECE student) proposed the vote of thanks.
