Hackathon Challenge

As a part of International Conference on Higher Education Institute’s Challenges and Solutions for Sustainable Development Goals 2022, three teams from SRM Institute of Science and Technology Tiruchirappalli Campus were shortlisted for the final round of 36 hours Hackathon Challenge which was held from  16.11.22 to 17.11.22.

150 teams from all the campuses of  SRM Institute of Science and Technology participated in the Hackathon Challenge. A team ‘Team Nova’  from II B.Tech CSE – AIML (Mughesh Kumar N R (Team Lead), Siddharth Joshi, Yogavignesh V, Hephzibah Dineep and Amrisha A R)  won the Second Prize with a cash award of Rs.30,000/- under the Hardware Edition of the Hackathon. The team was guided by Dr. R. Balaji Ganesh, Assistant Professor (AIML)

The team has developed a Low cost, energy efficient, weather resistant IoT based human wearable Attendance System for Roadside Workers.
