The Faculty of Engineering & Technology, SRMIST, Tiruchirappalli organized a Workshop on “Advances in Python Programming” for the benefits of B. Tech II Year (CSE and CSE-AIML) Students on 27.03.2023 (Monday) at SRMIST Seminar Hall between 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM. The Session was handled by Dr. S. Sangeetha, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Applications,NITTiruchirappalli. Dr. R. Krishnamoorthy, Dean (E&T) welcomed the speaker and the gatherings. He shared his expertise and opinions on Advances in Python Programming. The speaker explained the Features of Python, Data structures in Python, Higher order functions, Regular Expressions, Libraries such as Numpy and Pandas.The Students gained hands-on experience on Python Programming Principles that are used in industry. Through this special lecture Students learnt about how Python can be applied in data science projects and how to create simple machine learning models. Finally, Dr. R. Deebalakshmi, Assistant Professor, CSE-AIML proposed Vote of thanks.
