About the Department

  • The School of Mechanical Engineering is a school of excellence that integrates basic scientific principles with the latest technological advancements. Our curriculum is designed to offer an integrated learning experience, integrating theoretical concepts with practical implementations. With a mix of state-of-the-art laboratories, practical projects, and industrial collaborations, the students are endowed with the technical skill sets necessary to tackle complex engineering challenges.
  • With a focus on problem-solving, research, and innovation, the department graduated future engineers in fields like Manufacturing, Design, Thermal Engineering, and Automation. Our curriculum is industry-focused and relevant to the new technology such that our graduates are not only well-grounded in engineering fundamentals but also well-equipped to meet the challenges of the new emerging industrial age.
  • Experiential learning through collaborative projects with industry, internships, and research projects is encouraged in the School of Mechanical Engineering and drives innovation and problem-solving. Through our multidisciplinary approach to collaborating, we prepare our students for participation in paradigm-changing innovation in aerospace, automotive, renewable energy, robotics, and smart manufacturing.
