The Institution is headed by Prof. V.P.R.Sivakumar, Assistant Director-FMHS & Dean,college of physiotherapy with well-qualified and experienced faculty members. The head of the Institution and the faculty members work effectively as a team. The strongly bonded team delivers high standard of care, learning new skills from other team members by working together and off each other.

The College of Physiotherapy has an experienced faculty team that specializes in orthopedics, sports physiotherapy, neurology, pediatrics, biomechanics, cardiopulmonary sciences, Hand rehabilitation, community rehabilitation, and obstetrics and gynaecology. Emphasis on interactive learning ensures that every student gains an interest in the science of physical movement and participates wholeheartedly in the theoretical and clinical sessions.

Welcome to SRM College of Physiotherapy,SRM IST,Tiruchirappalli campus. It is an excellent choice to attain your education for a successful career in Trichy, “A Historical city in India”. We are proud of our Green campus, having 1575 bedded multi-specialty hospital to provide educational opportunities for students from all backgrounds and locations. It strikes the right balance between the theoretical and practical components that are Bench marked against industry standards and cover all spheres of physiotherapy. Our program is designed to meet the needs of the ever- evolving new challenges in the industry. The curriculum emphasizes skill- based experiential learning through compulsory academic projects and internship under leading physiotherapy entities across the nation. Clinical training for the students from 1st  semester onwards offers hands-on practice to be ready at par with industry needs using well-equipped state-of-the-art laboratories. It nurtures growing students to reach the realm of success. Facilities

The institution maintains a computerized central library spanning 720 sq m, which is accessible to students. The library caters to the needs of both students and faculties, with a collection of over 15,000 books. Additionally, it subscribes to 80 specialized national journals and reputed newspapers for their benefit. The central library serves as a valuable resource for students to expand their knowledge and expertise.

    2. Minimum 55% aggregate of marks or CGPA of 5.5 in qualifying examination.

    3. A candidate shall, at the time of admission, submit to the Head of the Institution, a Certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized Medical Officer certifying that the candidate is fit to undergo the academic program.

    4. Candidates who have completed Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) Degrees in other country Universities should obtain eligibility/ Equivalent certificates from the University before admission.

    5. Candidates who have passed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from other than SRM Institute of Science and Technology shall obtain a Migration Certificate from Parent University.
