I am immensely proud to state that SRMIST has been ranked 35 nationally under Universities Category by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework). Also, we have been accredited by NAAC with the Highest ‘A++’ Grade in the year 2018, valid for the next 5 years. SRMIST is placed in Category I with 12 B Status by MHRD-UGC. 

The Institution’s tranquil ambiance and rich green environs will serve as a fascinating backdrop for better achievement not only in their professional lives, but also in their physical, mental, spiritual, and intellectual development. I can honestly assert that the institution will give every individual with the much-anticipated chance for unrestricted growth through an integrated framework of academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities. Biography

Dr. T. R. Paarivendhar is a visionary who founded SRM Group in 1968 and is respected for his service to the cause of education and public service. He serves as a distinguished Parliamentarian in the India’s Lok Sabha representing Perambalur Lok Sabha constituency, Tamilnadu. 

SRM is one of India’s most multicultural large institutions offering a truly multidisciplinary learning experience to students and researchers. A pioneer who has set standards for professional education from as early as 1985 (since its inception), Founder & Chancellor Dr. T. R. Paarivendhar has proven to the world that he is a dedicated and committed Institutionalist who also founded a political party – “Indhiya Jananayaga Katchi”.

He visualizes God in the smiles of the disenfranchised and neglected and has empowered them with full scholarships to develop their life standards. He is notably supportive of enabling empowerment through education to the meritorious students in Tamilnadu.
