The Division of Chemistry was established in September 2021 and has emerged as a hub for academic excellence. The division is guided by a team of dedicated faculty members, each of whom has successfully completed their Ph.D. programs, the department has swiftly transformed into a nucleus for pioneering research, publications, and impactful events. The diverse research interests of our faculty members span into various subfields of chemistry such as Supramolecular Chemistry, Sensors, Solar Cells, Polymer Chemistry, Computational, Bio-Inorganic chemistry, Photophysical Studies of Biomolecules & Nanomaterials for energy, bio-medical and environmental applications. Each faculty member, driven by a passion for discovery, plays a pivotal role in shaping the academic landscape of the chemistry division. They have obtained guideship and mentor research scholars. Their dedication for advancing the frontiers of knowledge is reflected in their impressive publications of research articles in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and books. Facility:

Our laboratory was designed to instill a deep appreciation for the principles of chemistry while honing practical skills essential for future scientific endeavours. The chemistry laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation and safety measures, our laboratory provides a conducive environment for learning and experimentation. The Chemistry Laboratory is equipped with instruments viz., potentiometer, pH meter, conductivity meter, and equipment that are essential for conducting a variety of experiments and analyses, tailored to cater the needs of research scholars, and students.
