Hand Ball Tournament-24

SRM Trichy Trophy – a State Level inter-school Hand Ball Tournament for Boys and Girls organized by College of Occupational Therapy in Association with Department of Physical Education, SRMIST, Tiruchirapalli Campus.

The formal inauguration was done by the Chief guest Mr. R. Karunakaran, General Secretary Tamilnadu Hand Ball Association, Presided by Director Trichy Campus Dr. N. Malmurugan, Deputy Director Dr. N. Balasubramanian, Assistant Director of Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and Dean Physiotherapy Dr. V.P.R. Shivkumar, Dean College of Occupational Therapy Dr D. Suresh, Physical Director Dr. R Manickam, Department of Physical Education, SRMIST, Tiruchirappalli Campus. All other Respective Deans, Principals, Vice Principals and other Administrators from other Sister concerns were also present.

26 teams took part in 2 Handball courts at SRM Trichy Campus. More than 400 students, physical directors, and coaches participated in the match. All students participated with great enthusiasm till the end of the match.

Government Boys’ Higher Secondary School, Karur, White Calf Higher Secondary School, Villupuram were declared winners for Boys and Girls respectively whereas Alagappa Higher Secondary School, Karaikudi and Amala Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Musuri were declared the winners for Boys and Girls Respectively. Trophies and shields were distributed to the winners, and all the participants received participation certificates.
