Faculty of Engineering & Technology, SRM IST, Tiruchirappalli campus conducted special lecture on the topic of “Statistical Machine Learning: Basic Approach & Current Research Challenges “ on 12/05/2023 at 2.00 p.m. to mark the celebration of National Technology Day.
The resource person Dr.Vanamayil, Professor of Medical Statistics, Trichy SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Tiruchirappalli, explained the importance of statistical model for better accuracy with Machine Learning and AI techniques. The students of B.Tech AIML interacted with chief guest and learned the dynamic nature of modelling the parameters with statistical interface.
Dr.R.Balasundaram, Associate Dean, welcomed and Dean Dr.R.Krishnamoorthy, thanked the resource person for giving application based statistical lecture.
