The Department of FET (Faculty of Engineering and Technology) students of SRM IST Trichy had participated in the YuvaSangam Reception organized by the CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) and NIT Trichy. At the Reception, various Chief Guests have given their idea and objectives of YuvaSangam (Technology, Exchange of Tradition, people to people connect and tourism). The students of the SRM IST Trichy honoured the members of YuvaSangam by giving them the Garland Necklace as we take the threshold to be the representatives of Tamilnadu. The Students of SRM IST Trichy and YuvaSangam members were told to form different groups for the exchange of traditions, culture and ideas, and there were several tasks given to respective groups for the exchange of traditions and cultures.
