NDLI Programme

The Library committee of SRMIST, Tiruchirappalli Campus organized the National Digital Library Initiative (NDLI) Programme through online mode on 18.02.2022 at 2 pm. Dr. N. Anitha, Assistant Professor, Department of Tamil presented the welcome address. Dr. N. Malmurugan, Dean(E&T) delivered the presidential address. He motivated the students to utilize the resources available in National Digital Library, not only in the examination point of view, but also with the motive of knowledge updation. He also encouraged the students to register in NDLI for life long learning. Dr. Kotravel Bharathi, Dean(S&H) stressed on the habit of reading books to broaden the knowledge. Dr. D. Suresh, Dean(OT) emphasized the utility of resources in NDL. The resource person, Dr. T. Suresh Kumar, Librarian, National College(Autonomous), Trichy threw light upon the history of digital library, subject wise content availability, the content contributors, learning resource types and access options. He demonstrated the process of registration in NDLI to access by author, title, education level and reap the benefits. The students and faculty of SRMIST, TRC of all programmes became the great beneficiaries. Dr. C. Shanmuga Priya, Assistant Professor of English and Secretary, Library committee, SRMIST, TRC proposed the vote of thanks.
