About the visit
The SEDAT TECH 2024, an Anesthesia and Cardiopulmonary conference organized for students in a comprehensive and dynamic way that has a crucial role in advancing the field of cardio pulmonary and anesthesia technology. Various keynote speeches were delivered by industry leaders and experts has set the tone by highlighting recent innovations and trends. The workshops, seminars, and hands-on demonstration offered to the attendees with the opportunity to delve deeper into specific topics such as nee equipment, patient monitoring techniques, and safety protocols.
The interactive sessions were particularly valuable, providing a platform for technologist to engage directly with experts, ask questions, and share ideas with colleagues. Case studies and real-life scenarios were added a practical dimension to the learning experience, allowing professionals to gain insights into how to handle challenging situations effectively in medical setup and in case of emergency.
Moreover, the networking opportunities at the conference was invaluable for fostering connections among professionals and facilitating collaboration on research projects or quality improvement initiatives. Further, the personality development session was also conducted for the benefit of the student participants which was well received.

A total of 60 students of 2nd and 3rd year Anesthesia Technology, Cardio-perfusion Technology, Physician Assistant, Respiratory Care Therapy and Cardiac Care Technology were participated in the event and Mr. D. Paranthaman, Tutor, Nephrology Department has Coordinated the program.
The three-days conference included many Departments to get to know about their roles in therapy process. The following departments are:

Outcome of the conference
The workshop come conference helps the students to understand the techniques employed in emergency care departments and also provided insight into discuss on new research findings, advancements in techniques and technologies, updates on regulations and best practices, networking opportunities, and continuing education credits for attendees. These conferences often aim to improve patient outcomes, enhance safety measures, and promote collaboration within the anesthesia community.
