Navigating Tech Landscape- Career Paths for Computer Engineers
The Students’ Summer Engagement Program on “Navigating Tech Landscape- Career Paths for Computer Engineers” organized for all Second and Third year students of Computer Science and Engineering Department was successfully conducted on 27.06.2023 at 11 AM. The event aimed to provide valuable thoughts and guidance to the participants, focusing on Career Paths for Computer Engineers. The program featured a welcome speech by Ramya student of II year Cyber Security, SRM IST, Trichy. She welcomed the Dean (FET) Dr. R.Jagadeesh Kannan, Associate Dean Dr. R. Balasundram, the expert member Mr.G.Prabhu, Senior Software Engineer, QA Lead, HCL Technologies- Singapore, the students and the faculty members by expressing the gratitude for their presence and highlighting the importance of such training programs in shaping their careers.
Following the welcome speech, the expert member shared his thoughts and experiences, by providing valuable advice on various aspects. The talk covered topics such as Software development Life Cycle, various testing processes, and interview preparation tips. Throughout the training program, the attendees actively participated by asking queries and seeking clarifications. The interaction between the expert member and the students created an engaging and informative atmosphere. Attendees had the opportunity to gain valuable insights about developing software. The training program successfully achieved its objective of equipping the students with knowledge and guidance necessary for their future endeavours. Finally, Ramya student of II year Cyber Security, SRM IST, Trichy proposed the Vote of thanks.
