The Faculty of Occupational Therapy Department, SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Tiruchirappalli campus conducted a program on “World AIDS Day” on 08.12.2023 at the SRM College of occupational Therapy,4th floor, SRM Medical College, Trichy campus.
We conducted a seminar regarding World AIDS day Awareness among BOT and BPT students. Resource persons are Mrs.Nallangal, Counsellor, Integrated Rehabilitation centre for Addicts, SOCSEAD, Trichy. Mrs. Ravathy, Family Counsellor, and S.Diaz, Project Coordinator, Integrated Rehabilitation centre for Addicts, SOC-SEAD, Trichy .
Those students have actively listened the seminar. Students got knowledge and aware about : what is AIDS, cause of AIDS, Prevalence, Preventive measures, about the medication, Contraindications.
