College of Occupational therapy, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Tiruchirappalli campus organised a program on “World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims” on 20.11.2023 at the Trichy padalur Toll plaza private limited (Samayapuram Toll Plaza).
The Day is an important tool in global efforts to reduce road casualties. We conducted a Safety Campaign as a part of preventive education for the drivers and the public. Students were actively participated in displaying the placards stating safety slogans for the awareness about the road traffic accident preventive measures. The pamphlets regarding the road safety measures were distributed to the car, bus, lorry and motorcycle drivers.
