The Faculty of Engineering & Technology, SRMIST, Tiruchirappalli campus, organized the “World Intellectual Property Day “ on 27/04/2023 . The students of First year B.Tech actively participated in the event. Dr.R.Balasundaram, Associate Dean and Dr.M.Sridaran – Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department explained about Patents, Trademarks and Copyrights. They also explained the need and benefits of Intellectual Property Rights. Good number of students from B.Tech CSE – AIML had their doubts cleared and got insights of patent filing.
