Importance of Self Learning through Online Courses
The Faculty of Engineering and Technology, SRMIST, Tiruchirappalli campus conducted a Special Talk on “Importance of Self Learning through Online Courses, Internships” for I-year B.Tech. CSE-AIML students on 28.04.2023. Dr.E.Sivasankar, Associate Professor, Department of CSE, NIT, Trichy delivered the special talk and emphasized the importance of Online courses available at various learning platforms like Coursera, NPTEL, IBM platforms. He also gave the insights about how to learn different machine learning algorithms and how to connect it with applications. Students interacted with the speaker and got an understanding about the usage of ML algorithms for Data Science applications. Dr.E.Sivasankar informed about the Internship opportunity for students at various Centre of Excellence, NIT, Trichy.
