Winter Internship Program
The Department of Biotechnology, SRMIST, Tiruchirappalli, introduced a Winter Internship Program in December 2024 for 2nd-year students post their 3rd semester. Guided by Dean Dr. Jagadeesh Kannan and facilitated by Dr. Senthil K. Nathan, students gained hands-on experience at industries including Aavin Dairy, ITC – Trichy, Alapati Pharma, BioNEST, International Agricultural Processing, Naga Foods, NexGen, Vijay Dairy, and Viyen Biotech, significantly enhancing their practical biotechnology skills.
