On January 25, every year since 2011, National Voters’ Day has been celebrated, across the country to mark the foundation day of the Election Commission of India, i.e. 25th January 1950. The main purpose of the National Voters’ Day celebration is to create electoral awareness amongst citizens and encourage them to participate in the electoral process.
On 24th January 2024, in lieu of National Voter’s Day, the College of Occupational Therapy, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Tiruchirappalli campus took an opportunity to embrace the Voters Pledge in its true spirit through the active participation of students and faculties in the pledge.
