Report On World Autism Awareness – 24

World Autism Awareness day celebrated in SRM College of Occupational Therapy. The event saw 14 teams from different colleges of Trichy Campus. The students of Medical health science from SRMIST Tiruchirappalli Campus participated in the event and showcased their talents related to Autism. The purpose of this report is to provide an elaborate account of the participation of medical health students in World Autism Awareness Month 24.
Overview of the Event:
World Autism Awareness Day 24 was celebrated on 29th April 2024. The event was organized by the SRM College of Occupational Therapy, Tiruchirappalli Campus at the LH-II . We conducted quiz and poster competition regarding Autism Awareness among BOT, BPT,AHS students. The event was aimed at gaining knowledge about Autism and providing awareness about autism.
Conclusion:
Overall, the participants from the BOT, BPT, and AHS students from SRMIST and from Nursing participated in the Quiz and poster competitions. The Autism awareness competition 24 was a great success. The event provided a platform for the students to showcase their ideas and talent, which can have a positive impact on the lives of individuals with Autism.
