The IET Training Completion Program for Hotel Management students was successfully conducted by the Department of Hotel Management at Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) on 24th October 2025 at the Seminar Hall, Room No. 513. The event commenced with a warm welcome address highlighting the objectives and outcomes of the IET training program. The program was coordinated by Mr. S. Vijayaganesh, Assistant Professor, and Ms. A.M. Shahitha, Assistant Professor, who ensured the smooth organization and conduct of the event. The Principal and Vice Principal graced the occasion with their presence and delivered a special address, motivating students to apply their learning experiences from the IET program in their professional journey. They emphasized the importance of discipline, dedication, and innovation in the hospitality industry. The session also included a presentation on the training experiences, where students shared their insights, learning outcomes, and feedback about their IET exposure in various hotel departments. Certificates of completion were distributed to the students who successfully completed their training program. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, faculty members, and students for their support and participation, marking the successful completion of the IET Training Program 2025.

Parameshwari, Senior Dietician, Trichy SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, shared her expertise on various types of therapeutic diets, nutritional requirements for patients, and the coordination between dietetics and hospitality professionals in hospital food service management. The program helped students understand the significance of nutrition-based menu planning and the role of hospitality management in healthcare institutions. The event was coordinated by Mr. S. Vijayaganesh, Assistant Professor, Department of Hotel Management. The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer round, followed by a vote of thanks. Overall, the program was highly informative and beneficial for the students, enhancing their knowledge of therapeutic diet practices within the hospitality industry.
